Sanger, TX

On the way to Texas we stopped at a scenic pull off and admired the landscape.

When we got to the RV park in Sanger, TX, there was no room in the inn.  They did have a little corner of the barn in which they allowed us to spend the night, though.  While there were no cows, sheep, or men bearing sweet smelling oils, there was a giant spotlight shining through our back window.  And they were more than happy to charge us full price for the experience.
We were literally parked in a handicapped parking spot right outside of the barn.

The view from our bedroom window.

But at least they had internet, right?  When we tried, it was painfully slow and they wanted us to pay for it.  So we headed into town to hit up the local McDonalds.  Unfortunately, McD's internet wasn't working either.  So we explored the town a bit.  It was tiny and cute, and we even found the fire station!

The next morning, after a great shower, I tried McDonalds again.  Still no luck, though.  So I picked up some fresh baked doughnuts from a local shop, brought then back to the troops, and we ate them and hit the road.  Our next stop...Fort Worth.
