Davenport, IA

Our first stop was in Davenport, Iowa.  The first two nights we stayed at Lakeside RV park right outside of the city.  We wanted to be close to Moline, IL because it was home to the John Deere Pavilion.  Judah is crazy about John Deere.  It was pretty awesome.

On the third night we stayed at Wildcat Den State Park.  The RV campground was right on the Mississippi and everything was really flooded.
We had lunch outside and then went to check out the sights...

Judah's official pose.

Sawyer really wanted to climb into the river.

And he was super pissed when I wouldn't let him.

After our excursion, we had some beers and kicked it in the front yard.
This morning we woke up early and went to the Davenport farmer's market.  We stocked up on lots of beautiful local goodies.  Then we went home, packed up, and hit the road for Des Moines.

  1. It looks and sounds like you are having a great time. I know that you will be in Cali for thanksgiving but what are your plans the week before or the few weeks after. Thinking of maybe meeting you somewhere. I miss you all so much and can't wait to hear more. Take care, be safe but most of all...have fun!!
