Halloween in Williams, AZ

Judah was really pumped about trick or treating, so we headed to the nearest town with a Passport America park.  That was Canyon Gateway RV Park in Williams, AZ.  It was nice.  The owners were really helpful, the bathrooms were nice, and the internet was super fast.  We went out to explore the city to scope out our tick or treating route, but it was pretty dead.  I think only like ten kids lived there.  But the owners of the park gave us a tip about a fun house on a hill, so we got dressed and went out to take our chances.

We didn't really have any official costumes, just our everyday dress up clothes.  Judah decided to rock his Spidey costume, and we put Sawyer in the scrubs...paging Dr. Bean...

I don't have any pictures of us actually trick or treating.  Beans fell asleep, so Judah and I went out while S slept in the car with Mark.  We found some houses that were participating and a church parking lot with people handing out candy from the trunk of their cars.  Beans woke up for that, but he was in no mood.  After that, we did check out the house on the hill, but it was too scary. I even screamed a couple of times.

Despite the fact that we only hit a few houses, J ended up with a pretty good haul.  There were hardly any kids out, so the houses that we did go to gave him a lot.

He even got a punching ball, a candy rosary, and a ten commandments book mark.  Score!

But his favorite were the suckers.

He was so pooped from his night of frights and sugar that he crashed out on the couch in his spidey suit.

The next day we munched chocolate and sucked suckers all the way to California.
